07:30 Meet your guide at your hotel and begin your cycling adventure through the peaceful countryside of Hue. Ride towards Vong Canh Hill, a former royal viewpoint offering beautiful panoramas over the Perfume River and surrounding pine trees, with a stop at Nam Giao Esplanade, the historic ceremonial site where Nguyen emperors performed important rites to Heaven. Continue through the countryside to visit traditional incense-making and conical hat villages, gaining an insight into the skills and traditions passed down through generations. As you cycle back towards the city, follow quiet village roads and discover a more authentic side of Hue before visiting Voi Re Temple, a royal site associated with the war elephants of the Nguyen Dynasty, and the nearby Tiger Arena, a historic venue where elephants and tigers once fought as royal entertainment and ceremonial spectacle. Continue to Duc Ward to explore the traditional bronze-casting village, where local artisans continue the craft of creating bronze objects by hand. Ride back towards Hue city centre, passing further hidden corners and local neighbourhoods before concluding the cycling experience at approximately 12:00.
