ITINERARY

Day 1 HANOI TO CAO BANG & BAN GIOC WATERFALL (L)
Early departure for Cao Bang Province — remote northeast Vietnam. Arrive at Ban Gioc Falls, one of Southeast Asia's largest waterfalls straddling the Vietnam–China border. Take a bamboo raft to the base. Continue to Nguom Ngao Cave with extraordinary stalactite formations.

Day 2 NGUYEN BINH & ETHNIC MINORITY VILLAGES (L)
Journey through high mountains to Nguyen Binh district, passing Nung, Tay, and H'mong villages. Stop at a traditional local market if timing aligns. Afternoon trek to a remote Mong village.

Day 3 PAC BO CAVE — HO CHI MINH TRAIL & RETURN (L)
Visit Pac Bo Cave and the legendary Karl Marx Mountain and Lenin Stream, where Ho Chi Minh lived in hiding directing the revolution in 1941. Walk the forest trail through primary jungle before the scenic drive back to Hanoi.
