Board a traditional rowing sampan for a leisurely cruise along a quieter waterway bordering the Trang An landscape, surrounded by dramatic limestone karsts and lush countryside. Return by bicycle, with a stop along the way to meet a local farmer and experience a glimpse of everyday rural life before enjoying a late home-style lunch at a village house. In the afternoon, continue to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, where you’ll visit the historic temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties and learn more about this important period in the country’s history.
